ASCEND proposes to contribute to city health, inclusion and climate neutrality and accelerate the scalability of the development of cost-effective PCED solutions through i) large-scale demonstrators, ii) development of solutions throughout the life cycle of cities, and, iii) replicating a PCDE during the project in the eight ASCEND partner cities. The project started in January 2023 and will run for 5 years, with an overall budget of around 25M€ for a consortium of 39 beneficiaries from 14 different countries.
