Applications for the European City Facility (EUCF) 6th Call are open since the January 15th !
What is the European City Facility – EUCF?
This is a European initiative which supports local authorities with the development of energy sustainability projects and provides a 60 000€ grant – amount funded by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA).
Porto Energy Agency – AdEPorto is the Country Expert and provides support to the Portuguese municipalities which apply for this grant, by conducting and organising Training Sessions and Webinars.
Apply to this grant through the EUCF official website and count on the support of AdEPorto during the submission process.

The beneficiaries of the EUCF 5th Call have now one year to develop and present their Investment Concept, taking into account the measures proposed. The Portuguese beneficiaries from the 5th Call are the following:
Barcelos Municipality
Loures Municipality
Póvoa de Varzim Municipality
Torres Novas Municipality
Trofa Municipality
These are the selected applicants from the 5th Call which will have the opportunity to move forward with innovative projects related to clean energies and energy efficiency.
Until now, EUCF has already supported over 200 European cities. Considering the previous calls, Portugal gathers already 26 beneficiaries, where 6 are associated municipalities of AdEPorto: Maia, Matosinhos, Porto, Póvoa de Varzim, Trofa and Valongo Municipalities.
