This year, the National Meeting of Energy and Environmental Agencies (ENAEA2019) will take place under the theme of "Energy and Environmental Agencies: Intervention Agents in Territory", promoted by RNAE - Association of Energy and Environmental Agencies (National Network), in partnership with Energaia - Southern Energy Agency of the Metropolitan Area of Porto and with the support of Espinho City Hall. This event, which will take place on 4 December, in Espinho, at FACE - Espinho Art and Culture Forum, has the main objective of discussing increasingly emerging themes for municipal territories, such as Energy Efficiency Management Contracts in Municipalities, Renewable Energy Communities and Financing Models for Municipalities from 2020.

The event will be attended by the Assistant Secretary of State and Energy, Dr. João Galamba, at the Opening Session.

One of the highlights of ENAEA2019 will be the Award Ceremony for the Energy Globe Award Portugal 2019, to be awarded to RNAE. The "Energy Globe 2019" is an international initiative, which is represented in Portugal by Advantage Austria, the Austrian internationalization agency, and aims to recognise the best environmental projects worldwide with the greatest social and sustainable impact.

Under the scope of the ENAEA2019, there will be an area dedicated to the exhibition/showcasing of technologies, solutions and the activities of companies and other organizations such as QART, SONERES, CARRIER, HELEXIA, OPENPLUS, WEEECYCLE, GRAU and MACHINERY LTX, among others, as well as an outdoor exhibition and test-drive area for electric and hybrid vehicles of various brands.
