“SOLAR CARS RACING”, 2024 edition, will happen as early as next week, in the context of the initiative “AT THE SPEED OF THE SUN“.
This initiative aims to raise awareness among the young people, considering sustainable energies, and increase their interest and knowledge considering different technologies applied in the conversion of renewable energy sources, through an experimental activity.

This initiative is promoted by Porto Energy Agency – AdEPorto in partnerhip with the associated Municipalities, Gondomar, Maia, Matosinhos, Porto, Póvoa de Varzim, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This year’s edition is supported by E-Redes and Greenvolt, in the context of the celebration of the Energy and Environment Week, from May 29th (Energy Day) to June 5th (World Environment Day).
